Make sure everything is ready to go – beds are dismantled and boxes/clothes/kitchen/toiletries are all packed before removalists arrive. This will save you time and money. If you need a packing service, please advise before so that we book a longer slot for you.
Please mention while booking if there are beds/furniture to be dismantled before moving so that the removalists can bring the right tools. Also mention if there are any heavy items like pianos, marble tables, stone tables, double-door-fridges, french-door-fridges, or items heavier than 60 kgs e.g. pots and plants.
The day you are moving is stressful, tiring, and exhausting. Please give yourself and the removalist a buffer time in case you have appointments or job commitments. In case of unforeseen circumstances like storms/rain or vehicle breakdowns/car accidents/ traffic problems, we would always be here to help you and obviously, this is out of our control to manage it as per the plan.
Best recommendation: Always look for morning slots for your job and try to avoid last-minute moves including booking just before the settlement date or lease ending day by planning ahead before important dates.
We would never ask for help but If you want, you can always give a hand to save time while moving.
If you have lift books, please make sure you estimate the right loading/parking zone before we arrive. Parking at a distance from the building/lift or stairs slows down the removal process so please consider them while you move. Any parking fine during the loading and unloading will your responsibility.
We will be on time as per our conversation but if there are any changes we could come earlier after finishing our first job or if there is more traffic than expected before coming to you, we would definitely contact you and keep you posted.
Keep your fridges, chest of drawers, side table, and washers empty before moving. Do not leave anything inside them. Stuff inside these items causes unnecessary stress on the furniture/white goods, leading to breaks or cracks during the move.
Cancellation or rescheduling 24 hours before the job causes a loss for the removal company so please try to keep us informed if you have any changes in the plan before the move.
For Interstate Run:
Although we have moving blankets and straps to secure all your items in the truck. Please make sure everything is dismantled, packed, bubble-wrapped, or cling-wrapped for moving to avoid general scratching before loading in the truck.
Otherwise, please inform us in advance if you want us to do it. This will be charged under time. You have to provide the wrapping materials like a bubble or cling wrap. This is to make sure that all your small and fragile items are moved without dents and scratches while in transit mode. In transit mode, our insurance does not cover scratches/dents. Also, fragile items like glass and Tv is also not covered for insurance purposes.
Overloading or overpacking is considered not safe at. Although we can utilize the complete space available we have to make sure that items do not break while in transit mode so we do not recommend overloading or overstacking. It will be at your consent to overstack items other wise we would leave items if we consider them unsafe to be in transit.
